We are experiencing a busier than usual kitten season this year, with animal control frequently dropping off large litters and expecting Mama's. Our average cost of care to get a healthy kitten ready for adoption is $343.00, which is almost double our adoption fee. While we do budget for these costs, we did not anticipate the unusually high level of need within our communities this year. We could really use your help to provide all of the services necessary to get these babies ready for adoption! This includes the cost for routine vet care, microchips, spay/neuter, vaccines, parasite treatments, food, care and enrichment.
